ABOUT

I am a dentist and mama of two, living in the SF Bay Area.  Not long after having my second kiddo in 2016, and experiencing the effects of the drought and wildfires in California, I realized that the climate crisis is here and now.  Due to the federal government's inaction, I was eager to make changes in my life and thus began our family's journey to a zero waste and a low-carbon lifestyle which I document and share in my social media channels.  I started off with Facebook, then Instagram and Substack, and now I'm even on TikTok! 

After attending a former vice president Al Gore's Climate Reality Project leadership corps training in 2018, I began to also engage in my community by volunteering for my city's environmental commission and started our town's first Buy Nothing Project group.  Life is busy as a working mama, so while my pursuit of zero waste is not perfect, I am happy to share the ways I try to make an impact on the world, both inside and outside my home.
